Clipper 玩嘉电竞 have won the award for Best Future Skills Project at The 玩嘉电竞 Awards 2019.
Clipper has been recognised for their work in developing a forward-thinking solution in response to the shortage of future leaders entering the logistics sector. “ We believe training and development of our people benefits not only them, but us as a business, and this award is testament to our commitment to recruiting, developing and nurturing the best talent in the industry,” says Richard Cowlishaw, Group HR Director at Clipper 玩嘉电竞 .
The award celebrates Clipper’s apprenticeship degree programme in partnership with Sheffield Hallam University as well as its own 18-month graduate scheme, aimed at developing the skills, knowledge and ambitions of its recruits, helping them embark on a long and varied journey with logistics – and succeed.
It further recognises the work Clipper have done with Derby University and Superdry in order to provide students with the ability to obtain real world skills and experience whilst undertaking a degree in 玩嘉电竞 and Supply Chain Management.
It also champions Clipper’s Fresh Start programme which supports individuals with disabilities, physical or mental illnesses, ex-offenders, ex-homeless, full-time parents and retirees entering the workforce – individuals who may have otherwise had barriers in entering the world of work.

The 玩嘉电竞 Awards was held on 26 th September 2019, during IMXH in Birmingham. The awards are dedicated to celebrating excellence in the logistics and supply chain sectors in association with SHD 玩嘉电竞 magazine and recognise the most impressive achievements throughout the industry over the last 12 months.
