Clipper have been shortlisted for two categories at this year’s Retail Week Supply Chain Awards, in both the Returns Initiative and Collaboration categories. The entries come following the successful development and implementation of an innovative returns initiative with leading e-tailer, ASOS.

The award winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Hilton hotel on London’s Park Lane on Thursday 28 th September. Following overwhelming success at the awards in previous years, for projects with some of the UK’s leading retailers, Clipper are in the running and hope for more success.

The project saw Clipper work closely with ASOS to develop a returns initiative which was perfectly tailored to their requirements for their bridal range. Clipper developed on their existing Boomerang™ solution to create an operation that promotes best practice, while paving the way for returns of high-value items such as wedding dresses and bridal wear. The project has seen considerable benefits not only for ASOS, but also their customers.

Tony Mannix, CEO of Clipper said: “We are delighted to have reached the final of this year’s awards, for both of the categories entered. It’s always an honour to be shortlisted for such prestigious awards which celebrate the pinnacle of excellence, best practice and industry leading ideas. In previous years, we’ve celebrated successes at these awards, and we’re hoping that this year will be no exception.”

“Working with on-line giants such as ASOS has helped Clipper to highlight the ways that the traditional supply chain model needs to evolve in response to changes in retail and the needs and wants of modern shoppers; and we’ve responded to these changes through the development of our innovative solutions. Our teams work hard to create and implement industry-leading services to meet the needs and demands of our clients, and we’re thrilled to have that recognised.”
