Clipper 玩嘉电竞 plc has been shortlisted for two categories at this year’s Retail Week Supply Chain Awards – Third Party 玩嘉电竞 Provider of the Year and Multichannel Project of the Year. The entries were based around Clipper and SuperGroup’s collaborative approach to setting up a new distribution base for the brand’s multichannel offering.
Clipper has won prestigious Retail Week awards in each of the last three year’s and hopes to build on these successes when the winners are announced on 25 th September at a presentation event in London. Previous award wins have included for the categories of Distribution Warehouse Initiative of the Year (with Asda George), Green Supply Chain Development of the Year (with the Crown Estate), Multichannel Project of the Year (with John Lewis).
This year’s shortlisted entries were based around the consolidation of SuperGroup’s supply chain operations into a single, shared user facility – “The Duke”, in Burton on Trent. The operation handles the full range of multichannel logistics services and provides on-going support for SuperGroup’s expansion plans for both online and in-store operations in the UK and mainland Europe.
