Clipper is very proud to report that it has made the shortlist for the prestigious European Supply Chain Excellence Awards, which were announced this week.
The European Supply Chain Awards, in association with Supply Chain Standard and PWC, were launched in 1997 as an initiative to reward and recognise organisations in Europe that demonstrate excellence in their supply chain operations.
This year’s awards received a record number of entries and Clipper joins an illustrious line up of companies in the running for an award, including giants such as Coca Cola Enterprises, BT Supply Chain, Virgin Media, Vodafone and Unilever.
Clipper has been named in the shortlist for the 玩嘉电竞 & Distribution Operations Award category for its outstanding work with retail partner John Lewis. The award, which is open to manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, distributors, public sector organisations and third party logistics providers working in partnership with a customer, recognises projects that demonstrate an improvement in the efficiency of a logistics operation and which benefit the supply chain.
Making the European Supply Chain Excellence Award shortlist, is the latest in a string of successes for Clipper, as it was recently named a finalist for three categories in the forthcoming Retail Week Supply Chain Awards, and received an improved ranking in the latest Sunday Times Top Track 250.
Tony Mannix, managing director, Clipper said: “Clipper is delighted to have made the shortlist for these high profile awards, and that our partnership with John Lewis has been recognised in this way. We are extremely proud to have been nominated alongside such an impressive list of companies, and we look forward to celebrating with the deserved winners on 1st November.”
