Leeds-based, leading high value and retail logistics specialist Clipper 玩嘉电竞 Group has gained an impressive top ten entry to the Sunday Times International Track 100.

The second annual International Track 100, compiled by Fast Track, was published on Sunday and ranks Britain’s privately-owned companies with the fastest growing international sales over the last two years.

The listing follows a period of significant growth for Clipper, which has seen its client base expand particularly rapidly over the last few years, securing new e-fulfilment contract wins with major high street retailers John Lewis, Tesco and Asda/George, whilst continuing to develop its existing business portfolio with many well known household names, including Morrisons, New Look,  Harvey Nichols, Liberty, Americana International and Aurora Fashions.

Clipper now operates 29 distribution centres around Europe. The acquired operations in Germany have been central to the development of its logistical, administrative and strategic presence, enabling Clipper to service international markets in countries including Germany, Poland, France, Austria and Spain, and has resulted in international sales growing by 161% a year and from £2.1 million in 2008 to £14.4 million in 2010.

Clipper was one of just five Leeds-based companies featured on the elite list, and its number 10 listing sees the company ranked significantly above a whole host of other Yorkshire companies who have also gained a place on the prestigious list.

Steve Parkin, Clipper chairman, said: “Clipper is extremely proud to have reached a number 10 ranking in the International Track 100, and it is a testament to the continued growth of the business. Clipper’s agility and ability proposition has enabled us to expand our offering into international markets and look forward to further growth and expansion over the next 12 months.”
