Clipper 玩嘉电竞 have unveiled three new simulators to help in the training of their drivers. We have invested in the following resources: one fixed simulator and classroom located at their new site in Northampton site; two mobile simulators; and a “pop up” classroom; in order to train & develop the skills of our delivery drivers to ensure they are fully equipped to deal with problems on the road.
The high end simulators will teach Clipper drivers how to deal with a range of situations which could not safely be replicated on roads, including tyre blowouts, mechanical issues or adverse weather conditions. We also have the ability to create our own scenarios, meaning that our team can be prepared for a range of circumstances, and every driver will receive annual DCPC training using the equipment.
Tony Mannix, CEO at Clipper 玩嘉电竞 said: “Only a hand full of logistics providers in the country have access to this kind of equipment, so we’re very proud that our employees can receive this kind of valuable training. We want to do as much as possible to ensure that our drivers are as safe as possible, and have the necessary skills to deal with a range of incidents. The two mobile simulators allow for the training to be delivered to team members in our regional centres.”
