Clipper has been shortlisted for four categories for this year’s Retail Week Supply Chain Awards. With nominations in the Innovation, Collaboration, Delivery Initiative and Third Party 玩嘉电竞 Provider categories, Clipper’s entries centre on innovative work with the John Lewis Partnership during the past year, and the results that the collaboration has driven throughout the retail supply chain.
The winners will be revealed at a high-profile ceremony at London’s Hilton on Park Lane on 29 September, and having been successful at these awards several times in recent years, Clipper has high hopes for this year’s announcements. Being shortlisted in four categories demonstrates the strength and depth of Clipper’s multichannel services and operations.
The shared use “click-and-collect” service developed with John Lewis/Waitrose as the anchor customer is very innovative and was a response to the need for an end-to-end, reliable delivery service to support the needs of the customer. It uses advanced technology and retail supply chain skill/knowledge to reach a best-in-class, value-driven, time critical solution for customers and retailers alike.
Tony Mannix, CEO at Clipper, said “We are thrilled to have been nominated for multiple categories in this year’s awards. It has been another year of development for Clipper, and the announced shortlists recognise the hard work of our teams to boost efficiency in every area of retail logistics. Working closely with John Lewis/Waitrose has allowed us to combine retail logistics operational best practice with the high volume and time critical demands of click & collect. The world of retail continues to evolve, and Clipper’s innovation creates solutions that fulfil real industry needs.”
