Retail logistics experts Clipper have been appointed to provide an e-fulfillment solution which includes click and collect and home delivery options for GO Outdoors the UK’s largest specialist retailer of camping equipment, tents, outdoor clothing and footwear. The service will allow the camping and outdoor pursuits business to improve its overall customer experience and service levels by offering additional choice, including provision for the collection of goods ordered online, from its 47 UK stores.
The solution will be based at Clipper’s new shared use distribution facility in Burton-on-Trent which has room to absorb the planned growth of GO Outdoors ’ multichannel business. The shared user nature of the facility will allow for flex around skills, expertise and technology, whilst providing scalability, in order to provide a cost effective fulfillment solution to GO Outdoors .
